What a great article, thank you for writing it. I think it's so important that, as a society, we acknowledge the scars which will never entirely heal and the terrible behaviour some of us inflict on those whom we once loved in the name of a "better love" or a "newer love" or basically prioritising ourselves over the commitments we once made and thought would last a lifetime. It is such difficult territory to navigate.
