Well written dude. Whenever I think through this issue, I always get to the same conclusion: there is no sufficiently compelling reason to justify gendered lockerrooms; they exist only because of tradition and deeply rooted cultural norms. I think straight guys are generally accepting of the fact we occasionally get to see a guy we like naked, and that this is unfair given that they don't get the same opportunity. But, strictly as a matter of consistency, if the underlying premise is to separate people on the grounds of sexual attraction, it is a double-standard.
