The market usually sorts this sort of thing out but one of the issues with freelancing is that once you've got the work product, it's usually too late to realise you've paid someone way over the odds for text you could have written way better yourself and in half the time. It's bad for business because it puts people off hiring those of us who are trained to do and spent years honing our skills.
