Eudaimonia is tricky to define because it no longer translates from its original Aristotelian meaning. The dictionary defines it as “happiness,” but this is a gross simplification. To Aristotle, eudaimonia was a state of flourishing in which we feel the most alive and in harmony with ourselves.
