It's probably right that the university experience doesn't equip us with the business skills without which most of us would starve. Universities haven't done themselves many favours by suggesting otherwise. I think the stronger argument is that education has its own rewards. It is an end in and of itself. And it reminds us that there is more to life than the hustle.
