Interesting article! I feel like manipulation is becoming one of those words people are starting to throw round a whole lot more than they used to; either we're becoming more manipulative, or we're more willing to call it out (as you suggest), or maybe it's the latest word to become weaponised. Genuinely not yet sure which of the three it is.
