I might just be repeating the points you’ve already made with different words, but isn’t the illusory self formulation a statement of humanity’s self-delusion, the product of thinking which prioritises behaviours not consistent with the Noble Truths, and that the process of cultivating the Buddhist mind taken to its logical conclusion is the deletion of self entirely?
