Great article. Friendship and social connectivity, for me, is quality over quantity. That used to make me feel a bit of an oddball — everyone seemed to place value on large groups of friendships, the more the merrier, more is better, more, more, more — but I feel the culture is coming back to my way of thinking and perhaps, as you say, even going too far in that direction.
