Good article! The alpha/beta thing I find endlessly fascinating. Two off the top of my head points: (1) I can think of so many alpha guys prone to tears, and there's a heroism associated with those tears that I find admirable; (2) the way ahead in the corporate world at present, as far as I can tell, is to adopt an alpha-beta pose, but maybe two parts alpha to one part beta.
