Bravo! Couldn't have said it better myself. The paradigm will change, but my instinct is not anytime soon. In some ways it is helpful the global corporates are talking the talk re: work/life balance, workplace culture, and shared paternity/maternity leave, because it tends to reveal that the current paradigm simply can't accommodate these things. I'm all for people making serious amounts of money if they work hard, but it has to be the right sort of hard work, not - as you say - bullshit.
