An interesting article, thanks for sharing. Stepping back from the specific point re: cheating, I wonder if we're living through a major shift in the paradigm of how relationships are conducted. Whole sets of (non-violent) behaviours are actually criminalised in the UK now, for example. And if relationships rarely last a lifetime, it would make sense that what we expect of them changes.
