An informative and eye-opening article, to say the least. When people talk about an abusive workplace, I generally assume they mean "toxic culture" not actual physical violence. But there we are, it turns out it happens... Stepping back from the specifics, I do think there is something fundamentally wrong about many manifestations of the modern workplace. We will look back on it with a sense of shame and "really? that actually happened" in the same way we do now of Victorian factories in Industrial Age England.
